I have been called to be the Assistant Birthday Coordinator in our ward. Which in my opinion is the best calling ever. I get to be crafty and wish every lady in the ward a happy birthday! This year for a birthday gift we are making aprons. Now that might seem like a lot of work, but not with this simple pattern (if you can even call it a pattern).
You will need:
large kitchen towels (we bought ours at Ross)
thread
ribbon
buttons
sewing machine
needle
1. Buy your cute towels
2. Cut in on a diagonal on each side (starting a little high than the middle of the towel and going to the top of the apron)
3. Fold seam under and sew a straight line on top
4. Thread needle
5. Place ribbon on back of apron and button on top of the apron
6. Sew on buttons (holding the ribbon in place); 2 at the top and 2 on the sides
What do you think?! Quick and easy! And super cute!!!
